Terms and Conditions

It is the policy of our business that our clients agree to the terms and conditions before we proceed with any service. The below sets out our terms of engagement.

Professional Document Development

 

1. Document Development

The Client provides supporting documentation for a job application, which can include a resume, cover letter, selection criteria responses, writing samples, presentations, and other documentation as specified in the job advertisement.

​2. Client Commitment

The client agrees to provide all supporting documents.  Payment will be expected upon receipt of the electronic invoice. as outlined on the website www.adelaidecareersolutions.com. prior to the start of work, Upon provision of the first draft document issued to the client, a request for payment will be issued. Payment will be expected upon receipt of the electronic invoice.

 

3. Document Preparation 

The Company will provide draft documents to the Client within 7 business days. The document development process will begin upon receipt of the Client's written authorisation and payment. 24-hour notice is required if there is a need to reschedule prior to the agreed delivery time. Client e-mails and calls are welcome whilst the documents are being developed.

​4. Document Revision(s)

Client acknowledges that the Company will provide revisions to unfinished documents within one (1) week from the provision of the first draft document.  

This does not include the following:

  • Changing the scope of the service during the revision process as this is classified as a new request.

  • An additional package will need to be purchased by the Client to support any changes.

5. Confidentiality

The Company will protect the privacy of their clients and all information received will be used strictly for the development of the Clients documents.

​​6. Expiration of the Document Development Agreement

All services are considered expired within 1 month of the start date if they are not started or remain unfinished.

7..Termination

The service is considered commenced once the terms and conditions are agreed upon and assigned to a Consultant.  Should the Client decide to cancel the service after this period, they will be considered as owing money to the Company.

8. Resume Update(s)

The Company offers a resume update service from 12 months from the last service at a reduced cost of 30%.

9. Limited Liability

The Client confirms a service with the full understanding that they consent to the document development of their choice.  The Company is clear that there are no warranties given with any service.  In no event shall the Company be liable to the Client for any indirect, consequential, or special damages.  The Company’s entire liability shall be limited to the amount paid by the Client to the Company for all services rendered.​

Professional Coaching Services

​1. Description of Coaching

Coaching is a partnership (defined as an alliance, not a legal business partnership) between the Coach and the Client. that inspires the client to maximise personal and professional potential. It is designed to facilitate the creation/development of personal, professional, or business goals and to develop and carry out a strategy/plan for achieving those goals.

2. Coach-Client Relationship

The Coach maintains the standards as established by the International Coach Federation (www.coachfederation.org/ethics). 

The Client understands that in order to enhance the coaching relationship, the Client agrees to communicate honestly, be open to feedback and assistance, and to create the time and energy to participate fully in the session.

3. Services

The Coach will be available to Client by e-mail and calls prior to the initial coaching session and will also be available for additional time, per Client’s request on a prorated basis rate as negotiated with the Client.

4. Schedule and Fees

This Coaching Fee is payable in full prior to each coaching session.

5. Procedure

The time of the coaching meeting and location will be determined by Coach and Client based on mutually agreed times.

6. Cancellation Policy

The Client agrees that it is their responsibility to notify the Coach at least 24 hours in advance of the scheduled calls/meetings.  The Coach will attempt in good faith to reschedule the missed meeting. The Client will be charged for a missed coaching session which is not rescheduled within 24 hours in accordance with this Agreement, except in exceptional circumstances (at the Coach’s discretion).

7. Termination

Either the Client or the Coach may terminate the coaching service. The Client agrees to compensate the Coach for all coaching services rendered through and including the effective date of termination of the coaching relationship.

8.. Limited Liability

The Client confirms a service with the full understanding that they consent to the coaching services of their choice. The Client understands the coaching service does not mean they are guaranteed in securing a new role or establish life changes that are not created by the Client themselves.  The Company is clear that there are no warranties given with any service.  In no event shall the Company be liable to the Client for any indirect, consequential, or special damages. The Company’s entire liability shall be limited to the amount paid by the Client to the Company for all services rendered.  In the event of the Client is feeling mental, physical or emotional distress (or related ailment or a condition) which the Client believes to be related either directly or indirectly to the coaching session(s) the Client will not hold the Company liable for any loss or cost incurred (or any person related to them).  The Client will indemnify the Company in the event of any such liability.
